Welcome to the BooksForVietnam.org Website

Ted Hill has started a Book Drive for the newly established English-language International University HoChiMinh City, which is in desperate need of technical books. TH was a non-volunteer U.S. Army Captain in Vietnam in 1969-70. In 2002, he was invited to return to Vietnam to lecture on his discoveries in mathematics. Since that visit, he has arranged for a small number of research mathematics books that his hosts needed to be sent to Vietnam. Our aim is to build on those renewed ties, and to help the people of Vietnam, especially in the realm of higher education. This website will coordinate his efforts by listing which specific books have been donated and which are still needed by the university. Please contact us if you are interested in donating a book or making a contribution.
